Situated 15-minute drive from Lancaster, the hotel is in a semi rural location & next to Lancaster University business academy. Our room was nicely positioned, quiet & looking out over the garden area. The large swimming pool, sauna & steam rooms are lovely to relax. There is also a nice outside heated hot tub. Our food was well presented & of a good standard. We preferred to eat in the bar area rather than the formal restaurant. We will return to Lancaster House Hotel.

Nice hotel and in a very good location for a gig at The Great Hall at Lancaster University campus. Bed was very comfortable. There's also bus service from the University grounds into Lancaster centre

The staff is extremely friendly. The hotel is charming, tranquil, unbeatably located if visiting the university, and has all the amenities one might need with a bar and restaurant on site. The cleaning staff did a great job and in the room you get complimentary water, tea/coffee, cookies, and a very cute fluffy dog for purchase (sadly I had no room left to take him).

Stayed 1 night , the pool was area was beautiful , the room was a little dated yet I know they are doing work on them, the bed however was one of the most comfortable beds I had ever selpt on !! all the staff were very nice and helpful. Including the bar staff, and it's a really nice bar And the breakfast selection was amazing, everything was beautifully cooked and again fanatic service

The whole experience from going through the door to reception. Greeted by Staff who were soo helpful cudnt do enough to help you. A wonderful place to stay....Had a ground floor suite which was lovely to stay in and can recommend. The Breakfast buffet was nicely presented and the Main breakfast was served on hot plates and food hot. Most of the time where we've stayed it has been luke warm!! The Bar Staff were very attentive and friendly. Cudnt do enough for you.

The location to Lancaster University where we were visiting my daughter. All the staff that helped us throughout our stay were absolutely wonderful- warm, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, very tasty and fresh. Sunday roast was one of the best we have had in a restaurant. Spa exceeded our expectations.room was warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel has a homely vibe from the welcome of a blasing fire on arrival to cheerful and freindly staff.

Staff excellent and the service efficient and friendly; breakfast is very good, especially the fresh fruit; and the new dining room menu is excellent. The windows open wide so that fresh air can come in, something which is missing from most hotels.
